Elan City Center is a great community in a most convenient location, located in downtown Raleigh - close to shopping and events. The staff is friendly and most responsive, the amenities are noteworthy, the apartments are modern and well appointed and the residents are great neighbors. I could not be happier. Keith

So much care for the residents!! Loved the pool party, love the addition of the Pelotons! The garage gate has been down a couple of times recently, but appreciate the quick fixes. Thanks for everything!

Complex is great, and the staff are amazing! They go above and beyond to ensure you have the best leasing experience whether moving in/ current resident, or moving out. They take the stress off and truly help you have a great experience! Highly recommend!

Pros: Great community, location, and amenities. Coffee bar is a life saver. Staff and maintenance are friendly and helpful. Most communal spaces are kept very clean. Drawbacks: Trash and recycling capabilities could be improved but valet trash is super helpful. Hard to control but trash smell throughout most of 1st floor halls could improve. Resources/space for package delivery could improve, mail room and package lockers are often in excess/over crowded. Dog park still requires repairs. Some residents also drive through the parking garage like they really need to get to a toilet after Taco Bell; saw someone almost take out the garage gate trying to beat the timer/sensor.

Great location near downtown Raleigh, parks, and Glenwood Ave. It is walking distance to plenty of restaurants, bars, and activities. Helpful staff. The gym is very clean and user friendly. The pool is super nice and relaxing on those hot summer days.

The staff are awesome. They have been extremely helpful. They have met all my needs. I like that they have doggie treats in the lobby. People are friendly and I love the storage closets.

I love living here at Elan City Center. I enjoy getting to know people in the office, feeling heard and understood when I talk to them or have a need. The residents are great and a sense of community.

Overall good but the few things that can be improved certainly do take away from the overall experience. Would like to see better bikes in gym. Cleaner trash areas. Mailroom to not smell like wet dogs. Mailroom be more secure so I felt like I could actually get mail/packages here rather than a UPS store.

Very polite and efficient staff! I love eeeing them when I walk in. Maintenance is always quick to come fix things and they do a great job while being so nice.

great place to live, in spite of first-time renter tenants in the building who have no self-awareness and forget their mom doesn't take care of them any more (leaving dog feces in stairs, careless speeding and poor parking in parking deck, bags of trash in trash room)

I have really enjoyed the apartment complex so far. The staff is really nice and helpful. I am hoping that the dog fence gets fixed soon though.

At first, I loved living here. The amenities are great. However, so many of these amenities have been broken, unaccessible, or closed during extensive lenghts of time.....and yet my rent is never adjusted accordingly. The pool is out of commission when it should be open. It opened late last year as well. The dog park has been closed for months. The coffee/lounge area was closed during the first several months of the pandemic. I just don't understand how we are expected to pay for all of these amenities that we constantly do not have access to. It's a little insane. Also, I have extremely noisy neighbors and no matter how many times I complain, nothing is done about it. Again, it's a lovely building and I love my apartment, but it's inexcusable that we have to pay for amenities we cannot enjoy on a consistent basis.

A lot has improved since leasing office changes, I do wish that there was more updated equipment like a stair master or one of the vertical knee/leg raise stations. Hoping for lots of fun events during the summer like food trucks and pool parties, so we can get to know people and make some more friends here. :)

Great and clean unit. And great that the place is dog friendly. Hopefully dog park will be fixed soon. Friendly staff as well, it was fun getting to meet them at the after hours event.

The property is quickly declining and management either doesn't know or doesn't care. A tree fell in the dog park June 2021 and crushed the fence. As I write this (April 2022) the dog park is still damaged. Both gates to get into the courtyard are also busted. One is screwed shut and marked with an exit sign, which is a fire hazard. The handle on the other gate is three days away from being ripped off. Both courtyard doors to enter the building and the garage door used to enter the building don't require FOB activation.

I have now lived at Elan Center for one year. I love the location - everything that I need is within walking distance - my job, my doctors, my cosmetologist, restaurants, groceries - shopping…. My car is neatly tucked away in our most convenient parking garage. My apartment is very modern - complete with washer and dryer, microwave, oven and cooktop…. I love the granite counter top - the layout is efficient - I love my deck that overlooks the pool area. The floor coverings are high end - hardwood and tile - with carpet in the bedroom. We have access to a beautiful swimming pool, an area to grill and gather near the pool, indoor gathering areas and a very nice exercise room… I could not be happier with my choice to live at the Elan Center. Things went went for a while, but the last couple months it's gotten worse. Communication is pretty poor too - sending out notifications late about events, infrequent updates about repairs (pool, dog park, etc.)

I love the complex & my apartment & the staff! I didn’t love the process for resigning my lease (I had asked some follow-up questions and just never heard back before the date I needed to resign by) and also had a bit of a mouse problem this week - but overall still happy here and looking forward to the next 13 months living here!

This is a wonderful community at Elan. The staff is at the center of it all, I believe. Everyone has been so helpful with my moving in process, helping me learn the building and the various amenities. The downstairs “living room” is so comfortable and the counter culture coffee machine is awesome. The ability to use the printer in that area has been such a huge help to me and is so easy; what a great amenity! And staff puts on wonderful activities for the residents too :-). Can’t wait to see what they come up with next!

Elan is great. No noisy neighbors, common spaces are always clean, love the package lockers, and the office staff are incredibly accommodating and amazing. We love our home!

Love the apartment, the location, the amenities and the building management! Its very quiet throughout the day even though I face the main road, plenty of gardens nearby for a quick walk and grocery store and downtown is just few steps away

ECC is great meeting people is so easy and it’s a great community. As of now my only issue is maintenance as I still don’t have an ice maker or lights working.

From my very first visit, the staff at Elan Center has been friendly, knowledgeable, most supportive and trustworthy:) I love my apartment…. The kitchen is modern, the layout serves me well - plenty of storage:) Sitting out on my deck in the early morning drinking a cup of coffee as the sun rises is a great way to kick off day - the pool area provides such a beautiful setting. I could not be happier with my choice to live in this community - and walking across the street to work, is an added bonus… Keith

We enjoyed the Covid experience here at Elan now fully vaxxed we are ready to enjoy all the amenities that have not been available to us! Look out for us to be playing pool, swimming in the pool, or socializing near the pool!
